Washington RecapSo our mileage in WA is 665.04, with our estimated odometer sitting at approx. 800 milez at the WA-ID border. We rode through rainy but beautiful SW Washington up along the east side of the Olympic peninsula to Port Townsend, where we took a ferry to Whidbey Island and rode over some more hills to Anacortes, where we stayed for a rest day. Then we blasted eastward over the Cascades into the Methow valley, which turned into a sucky desert. We climbed for a long time, dropped into a canyon, climbed out the other side, then continued through the gorgeous rolling farmlands of Eastern Washington to Spokane, where we are currently staying.
